Try not to get caught up in the high-tech social media world we are in at the moment.
As mentioned in one of my previous blogs, it is good to see the ongoing changes we are going through during this information revolution we are in. There is a lot out there and we can easily access information about almost anything now.
However, regarding social media outlets it is important to outline – Your Facebook account does not define you. Your Instagram account does not define you. Your twitter account does not define you. Your Snapchat account does not define you. Your Linkedin account does not define you. Have I missed any? I’m sure I have. This time next year, there will be many more to add to the list. Or will Facebook or Instagram be replaced by another tool?
It is important to remember to try not to solely rely on these social media outlets in your life. Yes, it is good to check in, a great means of communicating but to have the balance of not spending umpteen hours on it. Remember to appreciate the beautiful natural things that surround you. Do you feel the need to always have to take the photo for these social media outlets? Or can you appreciate it and sync it in your mind instead?
